ANT/Telent This tool is specifically engineered for the ANT Crimp Splice Protectors.
For optimum use, the splice protection press should be mounted with the opening pointing upwards in the vicinity of the fusion device of the fibre-optic splicing unit.
It can be mounted on the splicing unit directly by means of stud bolts or adapter plates. To operate the splice protection press, place the splice protection in the press, place the spliced optical fibre with both hands in the V-grooves and press the thumbs on the clamping jaws to close the splice protection.
With this splice protection press, the splice protectors can be attached quickly and safely. It is optimized for the ANT crimp splices, which optimally cover the raw splice after use of this press and then effectively protect against environmental influences. The completed splice can then be removed immediately without waiting and inserted into a splice holder.
